Now Is Found

You guys, I'm so happy, I might cry.

I lost our engagement photos almost a year and a half ago when we were living at our apartment. I had NO idea what I had done with them. I searched high and low, racking my brain for where the CD could be.

And then when we started packing up to move I thought I would find it fore sure going through all our things, but it never turned up. So imagine my surprise when I started cleaning out some old boxes in the spare closet last night, and out crashed a CD case onto the floor.

This box had been in our laundry room at the apartment so I have NO clue how the pictures got in there, but all that matters is that they have been found!!!!

Almost more than our wedding pictures.

Our photographer, Bob, is a really great family friend of ours and I remember that day so vividly. My mom came along for the shoot and the four of us had so much fun hanging out all day. And yes, I do mean all day.

We drove to some of our town's favorite spots, walked around enjoying the weather, talking, joking, drinking coffee and having our very first professional photo shoot as a couple.

Bob and I are both fans of candid shots more than formal ones, so he tried to sneak into the background so we could forget he was there. Kind of hard to do when you have a camera snapping away at your every move, but we tried.

Of course, there was still the typical engagement shots we wanted

And the shots where he wanted us to pose like super models.

Or just the really cheesy ones... but you gotta have cheese.

Looking at these reminds me that it's time to update our family photos. After all, we now have an added fur child in the mix that needs some camera time.

And pictures for our Chrismas card this year...

I'm just so happy to have these again so I had to share a few of my favorites. Thanks for looking, I'm done now.
